Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's cuisine is a means to get inside her world. Food is what evokes curiosity, which developed after she stepped outside of into the Long Island suburbs and entered the culturally diverse environment that is Los Angeles. Cavatellis and carnitas mingling within the same menu is her ideology. However, what is consistent in all of her dishes is a singular vision towards the future that longingly remembers the previous. Inspired by her Italian-American heritage Lofaso established Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 that was immediately a hit. Lofaso's interpretation of traditional Italian has been hailed as the one of Los Angeles' most compelling Italian restaurant chains. Lofaso consistently serves excellent food at Scopa, a neighborhood favorite. Customers describe it as authentic and satiating. Lofaso studied under some of the most renowned chefs and learned their advanced methods, yet she was not afraid to go against her instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago before moving into working closely with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso and Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to launch Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. She was able to secure an outlet within Black Market as well as her partnerships. Lofaso would find the freedom to express her creativity that she desired through this collaboration. Black Market doesn't have one particular orientation. It's their goal. This course would begin with dill-flavored potato chips Shishito peppers, then follow up with Korean Wings. Antonia is the center of this dizzying array. Lofaso evaluated her career success based on her ability to be able to comprehend and appear genuine to her audience. Her memorable performances in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars celebrated her uniqueness outside of the kitchen and her talents continue to shine in front of the camera as a Judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup and in regular role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso joined forces in partnership with Penguin Publishing to create The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Recipes for easy, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. In the book, she describes her life as a mom and pupil at the French Culinary Institute. Lofaso believes that the main driving force behind her successes is the kitchen she uses. Through this, she is always on pulse. Chefletics revolutionizes the look of Chefwear with its emphasis on style and functionality. Her main focus is to remain true to her vision. To achieve this goal she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. This provides customers with the most personal service.
